DANPOWER BIOMASSE GMBH

The Danpower Biomasse GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danpower GmbH. The company has been operating the biomass heat and power plant in Pfaffenhofen, at the Ilm river, since 2014. The plant started its original operation in 2001.

Danpower Biomasse GmbH heat customers in the city of Pfaffenhofen are supplied from the biomass cogeneration plant in Pfaffenhofen.  The system is set up as a combined heat and power generation plant. It is fueled with natural wood from the region.  All electricity produced will be fed into the network of the regional power grid operator.  In addition to the heat supply of several residential buildings and public facilities the biomass cogeneration plant also supplies the production facilities of Hipp, Müllerbräu und Daiichi Sankyo with heat or process steam.
