Danpower GmbH is the holding company of the group of companies. It belongs to enercity AG.
Climate-friendly energy supply
We are the energy service provider with core competencies in onside and district heating grids as well as contracting services for heating, cooling and electricity. Most of our energy comes from renewable energy sources. Our customers are municipalities, companies in the housing industry, as well as industrial and commercial customers.
In the context of our energy contracting projects we take care of the energy supply of individual properties all the way through to complex heat supply regions, including all services regarding design, planning, construction, operation, as well as billing for the energy supplies. We offer all these aforementioned services also on behalf of third parties. We retrofit installations requiring renovation for more efficient energy delivery or we can design and build new plants.
Technical Know-how
We are your long-term partner in the areas of central heating plants for heat and steam supply, combined heat and power (CHP) units, wood-fired boiler houses (steam, ORC) as well as biogas and special gas systems. We offer individual concepts for cogeneration plants and thermal residual waste treatment plants.

Portfolio of experience, practical know-how as an energy supplier
We offer extensive experience in the design, implementation and operation of a wide range of plants for the onside and district heating grid. Our portfolio includes distributed heat generation plants in the low performance range and modern conventional boiler houses with condensing technology, high-efficiency combined heating and power units, as well as larger biomass cogeneration plants. Both stationary plants as well as compact and mobile systems are possible, with renewable solutions always being in the foreground. Our offering is rounded out with distribution systems for onside and district heating grid supply as well as electricity.
Customized designs – in the range of 100-350 kW
Over the past few years we have developed a series of sophisticated and innovative designs for use with renewable energy sources such as sewage gas, wood and other biomass usable for heat and power generation. We offer tailor-made concepts for the performance range of 100 - 350 kW in the form of a small boiler design.
Planning and construction of the plants is coordinated and monitored by our highly qualified engineering staff. Special emphasis is placed on the involvement of knowledgeable and capable partners from the region for the planning as well as the implementation stages of the project.
